METALFOS AQ is an immersion process for phosphating iron and steel based on accelerated zinc phosphate. Indicated as pre-treatment before
oiling, drawing or extrusion. It was developed for the phosphating of parts such as nuts and bolts; engine parts such as pulleys and joints as
well as various other types of assembly parts with oil finish.
This zinc phosphate is also used as a base to provide rubber adhesion on parts such as retainers and cushions.
METALFOS AQ produces, by immersion in iron parts, a crystalline zinc phosphate film of excellent quality.
